Cookies

On the Softmint site we do not measure visits and we do not track you. That is why there is no cookie notice.
If you choose another language at the bottom of the page, the cookie sm-taal remembers that choice for one year. It only holds the language.
Cloudflare runs in front of the site and can set a functional cookie to stop abuse and bots. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are a person.
In the app
When you log in, the app sets a session cookie (better-auth.session_token and better-auth.session_data). It keeps you logged in until seven days after your last visit. When you log out, it is removed.
The app also sets sm-taal, with the language of your account, for one year. This way you get messages in that language.
With a presentation for your client
When your client enters the PIN code, a cookie (sm-v- and the link) remembers this for 30 days. This way your client does not have to enter the PIN code every time. It holds no name or other personal data.
When your client responds, the browser keeps the responses that are not sent yet, and the first name, in its local storage (sm-reacties- and the link). After sending, only the first name stays. None of it reaches us until your client sends it.
When your client does an intake, the browser keeps the first name and what they swiped and chose (sm-intake- and the link), so they can continue after a reload. At the end it all goes to the studio at once.
